The Wren Climate Collective

The Wren Climate Collective uses extensive frameworks and scorecards to identify early-stage carbon removal projects, and prove their project credibility and ability to generate carbon credits now or in the future. Donors can then unlock their philanthropic dollars to support these trusted initiatives.

Through the WCC’s frameworks, Mpactful Ventures funded a grant in 2024 which included gifts for three initiatives supporting critical policy work and carbon removal tech development: Mati Carbon, the Clean Air Task Force, and the Carbon Removal Alliance.

In 2025, Mpactful Ventures funded a second grant through The Wren Climate Collective, this time helping to cover operational costs associated with running the WCC itself, as well as initiating a slingshot fundraising campaign to raise over $175K for WCC project Aquarry.
