Our Team

Prior to founding Mpactful Ventures, Michael co-founded Buildium, a software company serving tens of thousand of property management companies around the world. After a successful exit in 2019, Michael began focusing his time and energy on one of the most pressing challenges and opportunities of our time — climate change.

Michael graduated with a B.A. in Computer Science from Boston College, and started his career as a technology consultant at Accenture and Sapient.

Michael lives just south of Boston with his wife, kids, and dog.

With a diverse background in archaeology, company culture, administration, and project management, since joining Mpactful Ventures in 2021 Mary has been balancing projects of a different nature. Now focused on opportunities to mitigate climate change, she's helping spearhead initiatives in sustainable building and has an interest in regenerative agriculture and other nature-based solutions.

Mary graduated with a B.A. in Archaeology and Classics from NYU, and started her career on excavations across the Mediterranean.

Mary lives west of Boston with her husband, tenacious toddler and hedgehog.
